Rae is a #nonbinary#country singer and this is my favorite version of my favorite song of theirs. When they posted this video to youtube in 2008 I was deep in my singer-songwriter fantasy, and I wanted more than anything to sound as good with my voice and guitar as Rae sounds with theirs.
Got a “yeah I kinda figured?” reaction to a friend I came out to as nonbinary today. It’s a good feeling, but with just a dash of “lmao, really could’ve used a hint.” 😅
