I'm wrapping up the development on the Petty Acts of Retaliation one-shot this weekend and I could use some help with codenames for the adversaries. Each agent of Babylon One is presented to the PCs with their codename, image, an Aspect, and one skill. The player answers two questions: "What did this agent to do piss you off?" and "What are they capable of?" Based on these answers, the GM fills out the High Concept, Trouble, and Agent Aspect (Proposition Player, Card, Deuce)-
🕵️ Psst! The #AscellanConspiracy is on sale @DriveThruRPG, along with many other Cosmic Horror titles.
In this #FateofCthulhu Timeline, trade Eldritch Gods for an alien invasion spanning a century.
With Alien DNA raging through their veins, your Resistance agents must disrupt 4 key events in the past – with the ultimate goal of preventing First Contact in 1932.
Heyho...
Beim #RPGaDay2023 bin ich am Tag 6 über diverse Leute "gestolpert" die gerne mal #faterpg spielen würden.
Vielleicht kann man ja einen one-/few-shot auf die Beine stellen.
Please respond by saying what sorts of TTRPG things you're pretty likely to either talk about or respond to if you see them.
This can be a list of games (D&D! Tribe 8! Fate!) or categories (the weirdest of indie stuff! NSR! Anything PBtA!), topics (Worldbuilding! Publishing!), stuff you're making, meta-commentary (The State Of The Industry), and so on.
Then maybe share, and if the replies are building up, check them for new people.
For systems I'm an evangelist for #savageworlds but I also really enjoy #faterpg and Protocol Game Series.
I'm currently in a Shadowrun game set in New Orleans and we're using an adaptation of the Savage Worlds ruleset. Couple sessions ago my Dwarf Private Investigator taunted a nasty looking Troll by eating his McHugh's 🍔🍟 from his fridge. 😂
I think the one thing that I absolutely adore about #TTRPGs is the modularity of them that allows two disparate designs to be meshed together. Even better, folks can share these new designs with other folks to help prime their pumps.
