My first show was in 1985, I was barely 15. I remember the show, but not the setlist specifically. Although, given the band, I would have enjoyed any they played. However, this comes to mind, and I know they played it that night:
Monday: 160 seconds of plank, 11 minutes of #AppleFitness Yoga for runners, 21 minutes of strength training, and 10 minutes of core training, followed by 5.2 km of #running (-4°C with a windchill of -8°C), picked up groceries, and walked home.
Nice and cool run, at least. I'll enjoy it while it lasts.
Today's #FirstSong is something I came across somewhere and just got to listening to this morning before I get my day started: Нехай – May It Be (Enya) – Lord of the Rings cover in Ukranian by Eileen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdmM5-nhli8#Music
Oh, I almost forgot #FirstSong of the day: Don't Believe in Love by The Peptides (a local band that is just fun and should be much bigger than they are).
Friday: 138 seconds of plank, 9 minutes of kettle bells, followed by 7.36 km of #running (+ 1°C). Almost achieved a negative split (where each successive KM is faster than the previous). Really felt like I was flying along in the last KM and a half.
Another tough morning even though I slept in until nearly 8am as today we start nine days of #FilmProduction in a row. Won't be around much during. 🤷🏻
Thursday: 107 seconds of plank, zero pushups, followed by 6.6 km of #running (-6°C with a windchill of -11°C), then picked up groceries and walked home.
Slept terribly, woke up feeling sore and like garbage; not sick… Bleh. Plank was a struggle until I stopped, my chest muscles were unhappy.
Opted for a shorter run today, even though conditions were ideal for me. Fitness is going to go right out the window starting tomorrow.
Wednesday: 162 seconds of plank, 21 minutes of yoga, followed by 12.2 km of #running (-7°C with a windchill of -10°C). My abs were not on board with this morning’s planking. Still really tired.
Tuesday: 170 seconds of plank, 10 minutes of kettle bells, followed by 11 km of #running (-6°C with a windchill of -12°C). Grey and overcast, just how I like it.
I typed too soon yesterday; plank was really hard today - barely made the goal time, but the run was great, even if it was a bit messy out. Fastest run of the year and (checks spreadsheet) since my return to running from injury.
Monday: 170 seconds of plank, 85 pushups, followed by 12 km of #running (-2°C with a windchill of -8°C), got groceries, and walked home.
The planking doesn't feel like as much of a struggle, so I'll call that progress.
About half of this route is sidewalks/cleared paths (with some ice for fun), and the other half is off-road & uncleared, so it's an interesting mix of challenges for running to keep it interesting/frustrating. 🤣
Saturday so far; slept in, twenty minutes of #AppleFitness with @TAV (Yoga and Strength training) before heading out for a 5km walk with her. Caught up on some email and work stuff.
Friday: 170 seconds of plank (new record!), 9 minutes of kettle bells, followed by 6.5 km of #running (-1°C with a windchill of -6°C) in freezing rain.
Made it about 50 metres this morning before turning around to go home and switch to my shoes with the spikes on them. After that, it was pretty smooth, if somewhat noisy (clack, clackity, clack, clackity…) 🤣
One interesting thing about the #AppleMusic New Music Mixes is that it can get weird some times.
Admittedly, my music taste is eclectic, so I should expect it, but I listened to maybe two “belly dancing” songs in the past week while looking for something in my music archive, and a bunch of the new tunes are what I'd call bellydancing music. 🤣
One week it's almost all metal, another KPop, I think I'm straining Apple's music recommendation engine. 🤣#FirstSong
Thursday: 161 seconds of plank, 80 pushups, followed by 5.2 km of #running (-3°C with a windchill of -7°C), picked up some groceries, and walked home.
Wore my cleats because at that point in the morning, everything was icy, so I kept the run short and then clack-clack-clacked around the grocery store. 🤣
Wednesday: 10 minutes of Apple Fitness strength beginner strength training, 10 minutes of Yoga for beginners, followed by 160 seconds of plank, and the followed by 11.1 km of #running (-10°C with a windchill of -17°C).
The two #AppleFitness workouts were nice and easy, and today I learned not to do plank right before going out for a run.
Especially a run in snowy conditions. What a mess out there. 😳
#FirstSong: Bad Trash by Tre Lux, featuring Tina Roots and New Skin
Tuesday: 160 seconds of plank, 8 minutes of kettle bells, followed by 16.8 km of #running (-2°C with a windchill of -6°C), including about 2km of running on the #RideauCanalSkateway (without spikes because I didn't want to carry them in my pockets).
So now my thigh muscles are differently sore for coping with running on ice. 🤣 Also nice to be back on #TeamShorts

Monday: 160 seconds of plank, 75 pushups, followed by 10.1 km of #running (-7°C with a windchill of -14°C), then picked up groceries, and walked home.
Got out the door a bit later than intended, but it was a good enough run, even if it is still feeling like a struggle; my heart rate was about 10 bpm higher than usual for the same “effort”. Might just be a Monday thing. 🤷🏻
