Yes there is great funeral doom outside Finland but this is not the "traditional" Funeral doom. This album takes you on a ride that starts with Post-rock that turns to glacially slow funeral doom, and suddenly turns into punishing black metal and that's just the opening. the ride keeps going up and down with tons of atmosphere
I really want to add this amazing Finnish Atmospheric #FuneralDoom record that came out Dec 17, 2022 but I never got around to hearing it until Jan 2023
Though only two songs (and a transition actually the track name) This one is 5/5 for me. Just Finnish Funeral doom done amazingly well. Slow and I mean glacially slow, and melancholic, and crushingly heavy. The vocals are slow guttural. This is how I love #FuneralDoom
