As I work into talking about my record collection, I’m starting back at the beginning with albums and artists that shaped my journey to where things stand today. Another pivotal record was Gap Band - “IV”. A top 5 all-time funk/R&B band. The intro synth on opening track “Early in the Morning” continues to influence my musical explorations to this day.
