Isle of Wight based picture seller. I run a small gallery selling my husband's landscape photography. Previously I worked as a project worker in a centre for the homeless and rootless and later in homeless prevention/tenancy support. I tend to post photos of the Isle of Wight , boost other photos that appeal to me, share what music I'm (and others I follow) are listening to. In my case it's usually rock! Give me nature, animals, music, vegan food, Coventry City FC and I'm happy!

The incessant rain of the last week has kept us indoors but today we managed to head out for a walk through the cemetery once more. I think it would be fair to say that the squirrels and pigeons and crows have missed us. We had a scurrying and flapping posse accompany us and launch themselves ahead of us to wait for the entire walking route.

A shot taken quite a few years ago at #BembridgeWindmill for #MoonMonday

My husband took this using a telephoto lens, we were parked in a layby about a mile away from the windmill. It's rare that a long trek isn't required for this type of shot, but we were able to set up next to the van for this one!

@Nick It's a dry socket where the remnants of the tooth were extracted last Tuesday. It's been agony but I went back to the specialist dentist today after my usual one gave me antibiotics on Friday.
I've had some clove tasting gunk syringed into it which has taken the pain away for a day or two. If it still hurts I'll get another dose on Thursday.
My jaw has gone black and yellow today, I look like I've been in a scrap!

@JohanDiederik Thank you. The specialist thinks that I'm over the worst of it. The remainder of the tooth was removed a week ago. I'm out of pain today, he's told me to go back for another dressing on Thursday if the pain returns.

I ordered some red squirrel plush toys to have around the shop as we love the reds here on the Isle of Wight.

Our stock room is pretty much just a large under stairs cupboard so they've taken over somewhat! Think I'll squeeze them back in their box 🐿️
