I know, as an aging late-era #GenXer, that I'm supposed to like #Sting. On some intellectual level, yeah, I do, but there's just something about his solo work that speaks to jazz fusion audiophiles with $5,000 Hi-Fi systems. And I am not one of them.
There are a few songs that I connect with on an emotional level, but for the most part, no. I did try. Hell, I'm listening to "Soul Cages" right now, and I recognize the artistry. But it's all cerebral. It's a sativa high. #music
I just watched the funniest #instagramreel of a self proclaimed #genxer yelling about how soft us #millennials and #GenZers are. And an example she used was "no gen Xer is allergic to gluten." As a #coeliac this made me laugh so hard knowing how genetic that is.... My mother is gen x and gluten intolerant 😂😂😂
