Jupiter is astonishingly beautiful. Its been ~12.5 years since Juno launched, and with every dive below Jupiter's magnetosphere, its been taking close-up images of jovian storms and clouds. So many breathtaking photos, its hard to pick just a few! Honestly hard to believe these are real #astronomy#jupiter#junomission

🌋 On Feb. 3, the #JunoMission captured two volcanic plumes rising above Jupiter's moon Io – either two vents from one giant volcano, or two volcanoes near each other. The team will be analyzing this against additional data from Juno and other missions to get a better understanding. See the latest at http://missionjuno.swri.edu
