Whether or not the SCOTUS MAGA judges block the January 6th trial from taking place before the election, everyone still knows that the former president led a conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election.

That fact is completely disqualifying. Completely.

Let's remember that despite the outwardly partisan and corrupt MAGA members of SCOTUS interference in the prosecution of co-conspirator #1, the other members of the conspiracy will be facing the music.

Tomorrow is the day that must issue their decision on whether or not the former president (or any president) could be immune from criminal prosecution so that the January 6th Insurrection case can proceed and the voters know if he is guilty of instigating a coup to overturn the will of the electorate.

Samuel Alito’s egregious partisan display should result in his resignation from the Supreme Court.

At the absolute bare minimum, it should be atoned for with recusal from any and all cases having to do with the former president and/or the January 6th insurrection.

Neither of these remedies will happen because the MAGA Supreme Court judges are naked reactionary partisans.

There are very few cases that either must or really should take.

The case is not one of them.

The ⏰ is ticking.

Trump's attorney before SCOTUS last Thursday, John Sauer, claimed to be representing the interests of the Executive, but Michael Dreeben, representing the government was asked directly who he was representing, and his answer was DOJ.

It is undeniable that it was Dreeben, not Sauer who was representing the interests of the Executive.

We have only one sitting Executive.

The representatives of the current Executive are equally clear that ...

43 American presidents left office unburdened by the prospect of future prosecution (even a few who perhaps ought to have worried).

One resigned expecting prosecution, but was pardoned by his appointed successor, all but dooming Ford's election in 1976.

For several MAGA SCOTUS judges, the clear history and tradition paramount in Dobbs & Bruen is suddenly of no interest or concern.

Is their ability to retire with a Republican in office now paramount, screw the Constitution?

Pecker says when he received a letter from the Federal Election Commission, he called Cohen and asked him what to do.
Cohen said, "Jeff Sessions is the attorney general, and Donald Trump has him in his pocket."

Not pulling any punches and calling it exactly as it is! If only the corporate media and punditry had even an iota of this clarity...

SCOTUS has the ability to move quickly when it wants to.

It did so with Trump's Colorado ballot case.

It must do the same with Trump's immunity case.

Voters are entitled to know before casting their ballots whether they are choosing a felon for president.

🕒 May 20th is the deadline for SCOTUS to throw out the immunity claim so Trump finally faces a jury of everyday Americans for his criminal conspiracy to overthrow the will of the voters.
