#FlashbackThursday Kurkuma is a shallow, triangle scarf, knit sideways. The triangle edging is worked at the same time as the body of the shawlette. Worked at a loose gauge, Kurkuma is a lovely and airy layering piece! 😃 https://www.lavisch.com/site/kurkuma/
This lovely shawl was made by my wonderful tester StarStrong. She used Hand Dyed Merino Polyamide by K+C | Knit and Crochet in the colors "acid green", and "Royal". I just love this combination, the result is really gorgeous 😊 https://www.ravelry.com/projects/StarStrong/diamanten
For this design, I'm still working leaves here and there. Having bound off about half of the total number of stitches, I can finally spread out the shawl a bit. Once blocked, it will be pretty big! 😃
Time for an update on the socks I'm knitting! The first one is almost ready to start the ribbing, about 15 more rounds to go. I did include some calf increases 😉
On Saturday, when we were celebrating Sinterklaas, I’ve also received a lovely gift: this wooden yarn bowl! Isn’t it pretty?! I can’t wait to use it for one of my current projects 😃
The past few weeks, I've again been steadily knitting away on the big round shawl. I'm now a tad past 1/4, but it doesn't look very different from the last time I showed you. Well, onwards! 😃
#FlashbackThursday A couple of years ago, I designed this shawl: Winding Grape. It’s knit in super bulky weight yarn and has eye-catching cable patterning. The design is very flexible, though, it can also be knit in thinner yarns with equally stunning results 😃 https://www.lavisch.com/site/winding-grape/
