This weekend was Doors Open in Toronto where places you don't normally have access are open and have tours. We went to the east end gas plant where they generate a lot of power for the City, and a very interesting tour of a record store.
At the gas plant, I asked the only non-technical question -- about whether any movies had scenes shot there. Yes! Many! In fact, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be there in about a week.
The #record store, Dine Alone Records, was way more interesting than I thought. I had no idea they had a recording studio upstairs, a stage for bands, make record labels, a lovely rooftop deck for special events (complete with sauna) and so much more at the site.
