I've never done an #introduction post on here and I don't have a pinned post, so here goes:
I'm Nick. Pronouns he/him. I live in Toronto and I work in tech as a... technical artist, kinda?
I love to run #ttrpgs and I'm leaning more towards rules-light #osr#nsr stuff. I play far less often than I'd like.
I also talk about parenting, video games, and sometimes (rarely) post my art.
@Topofmyvoice I do love crime!
That's a kind offer but I'm afraid I have to decline. Unfortunately when I say that I "don't play as often as I like," it's due to a lack of free time more than a lack of opportunities. I'm playing in a couple games right now, but scheduling them is a nuisance due to my other responsibilities. I'm reluctant to add in any more games and have them compete for the few time slots I have available.
But really, thank you!
No one ever says, "We're having a bonfire/singsong on the beach, could you bring your Trumpet?"
I just say I don't play any instruments.
I spun CDs professionally once.
Bands would give me free CDs (Payola) when they asked what I played. I'd say YOU, I'm a DJ. I'm all request
I've been up about 3 hours, listening to tunes. Might as well share some?
Prompted by someone who's first memory of catchy instrumentals forgot about the early 60s. Instrumentals were big from 1940, to 1960s. I've seen folks dancing to this one.

@Rasta Rasta, I may have done my math wrong. I turned 70 in January. Is that older than you? I don't really care about math unless it involves knitting, crochet or cooking. Otherwise, it's an implement of torture for me.
