Don't fucking ever say that you respect, want to hear from, will honour, will learn from - #POCvoices - if/when you only truly listen to us, to grab tidbits of POC perspectives but then not stand up/speak up for us - when it's not personally or professionally comfy for you to do the right thing. That's what sellout, weak colonial power wanting folks do & we, strong POC folks can see through those sellouts(from any ethnic race).
Some of us can smell lack of integrity & we call it out!
Please don't forge ahead with trying to create mutual aid offline communities, with pleas to public about how it helps BIPOC - without talking to or asking for input from us, first.
Please don't ever speak for us, when you haven't even made efforts to speak TO US, first. This is about respect for #POCvoices. I feel the same about disability rights fights - nothing without us; you need to remember to talk to us, first.
