Today (March 2) in 1933, the original King Kong premiered in theaters.
That's over NINE decades of the KING! And he's more popular now than ever. There was recently an animated series, a video game, a new comic series is coming out, another TV series is on the way, there's the toys, and of course Godzilla x Kong premieres at the end of this month.

🦍 Taking place in the same universe as films such as Godzilla vs. Kong. John Goodman’s Bill Randa character from 2017’s Kong: Skull Island returns, which took place in the ‘70s.

The cast is led by Kurt Russell and his son Wyatt Russell, who will be playing Lee Shaw in the show’s different eras.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters premieres November 17 on Apple TV+.
Finally sat down and watched Kong: Skull Island (I know, I know, I'm 6 years late!) LOVED it (of course). Just an incredibly fun flick from start to end. Killer CG. And all the other creatures on the island! 🤯 What a cast, too. Hiddleston, Samuel L, John Goodman, Brie Larson, John C Reilly!

Enjoyed the first eight episodes of #SkullIsland on #Netflix. Some great #kaiju storytelling with likes or human characters as well. The humor is sometimes a bit much, while also adding the light gore, I expected a bit more serious dialog. It’s a bit of a #Marvel induced problem.
