At the #VintageComputerFestival 2023 in #Zürich, #Switzerland, you could not only see lots of antique Computers but also do stuff like getting text punched into punch tape just like in the olden days.
I wrote a small program in BASIC on my #Commodore#C64 emulator to decode what is punched into the paper tape to make it readable again.
@evelynefoerster There were also workshops at the #VintageComputerFestival 2023 where you could do a small educational soldering project and make your own nonsense noise creator.
It's been nearly seven years since I haunted these halls, and boy have these halls haunted me.
I deeply miss being a student. Even though I was a student in my early 40s, the memories of that period are far stronger and more enjoyable than those during previous, younger stints as a student.
