Common Goose Barnacles (Lepas anatifera) growing on a fishbox that's been floating around in the Atlantic for a few months by the look of it. Open ocean dwellers, these crustaceans attach them selves to floating objects, when young, and spend their lives filter feeding while drifting about. County Clare, Ireland.
