A small Dolphin skull - not sure which species, but Bottlenose (Tursiops truncatus) and Common dolphins (Delphinus delphis) are the most common in our waters.

An empty egg case (mermaids purse) from a Lesser spotted dogfish (Scyliorhinus canicula) attached to the seaweed with its entangling tendrils.

A rock coated in Keel worm (Pomatoceros triqueter) casings. The hard protective burrows this species of polychaete worm build to live in.

This cow/horse tooth has been worn down and polished over years by the actions of sand and stones along the shoreline. I tend to find them near river mouths or close by.

Common Goose Barnacles (Lepas anatifera) growing on a fishbox that's been floating around in the Atlantic for a few months by the look of it. Open ocean dwellers, these crustaceans attach them selves to floating objects, when young, and spend their lives filter feeding while drifting about. County Clare, Ireland.
