Why isn't "this confession has meant nothing" a meme?

I mean people meme the business card scene, the Hip to Be Square scene, even a three-second clip of Bateman asking his lawyer why it's not possible for him to have killed Paul Allen.

It seems to me "this confession has meant nothing" could be highly applicable in the right context, yet I've never seen it applied. I don't understand it.
