Apparently, a Japanese sumo wrestler named Hidetora Hananda joined the #CFL combine. He showed explosive speed, and performed incredibly well. Keep in mind that this fellow was just an amateur – he never joined the professional sumo ranks.
And now the word that Gerry James passed away the same day. James was also a Bomber legend and the only person to have played in both the Grey Cup and Stanley Cup finals the same season (won the Grey Cup with the Bluebombers and lost the Stanley Cup with the Maple Leafs.
