I just tried it out. I thought the initial version was an improvement, but this is overwhelmingly positive for me. All 3 characters of mine look amazing.
Yeah, I’m quite happy with the changes! I do kinda miss the softer lighting on the ethereal background, but this version really sings in the low light environments. I’m so excited to not look like a ghoul in indoor environments!
I have had an extremely hard week. I had some me time for myself for the first time in Don't Ask, so I decided to go fiddle in Gridania. NPCs in the fishing quests in #FFXIV keep calling themselves "friends of fish" and the like, which is odd, because the one thing these people have in common is that they all love to murder fish.
