Is it just me, or #germany the #foss capital of EU? I see a lot of people from there being active in the community. They even have their own SDF (https://sdfeu.org/w/). If it is true, why is that? I know they don't take kindly of google earth and paying by cash - is there some connection?
@mms if not the capital at least the center. France also has a lot of development next door with organizations like #framasoft and others, and similar with the Netherlands and #nlnet. I'm too geographically and culturally seperated to really know why, but I'd theorize it's the love of committees and bureaucracy and history driven fear of single organizations dominating society too much as well as wanting alternatives to US monopolies. Plus Germany has more funds than most to support nonprofits.

Il nous parait donc normal de les aider car grâce à eux nous nous émancipons des géants du web et nous dirigeons vers un #numérique plus #éthique.

La sua importanza per il #SoftwareLibero e la #CulturaLibera vanno ben oltre le cifre, pur importanti. On ne se repose pas sur nos lauriers. Tous les ~3 ans, on initie une feuille de route avec une nouvelle campagne : Dégooglisons, Contributopia, Collectivisons / Convivialisons
Internet (Coin-Coin 🦆).
Le but : réorienter et redynamiser nos actions pour qu’elles restent toujours pertinentes. On apprend en marchant et ces campagnes sont (aussi) le fruit de nos erreurs passées.
Framasoft, c’est plus fort que le capitalisme ! Non sérieux, vous en connaissez beaucoup des boîtes qui mènent autant d’actions de front, aussi utiles, avec seulement 11 salariés ? Nous n’avons pas d’actionnaires à satisfaire, ni de concurrents à écraser, et pourtant nous avançons vite et bien. Notre énergie à nous, c’est la croyance en un monde numérique plus beau et plus inclusif 💓
