Ich kenne leider keine Form der Kartenzahlung, die so erfolgte wie die Nutzung von 🤷

Bis jemand eine solche Technik erfunden und durchgesetzt hat, bleibe ich bei .

Die Komfortnachteile nehme ich in Kauf.

Es kann auch sein, daß diese Läden nicht Teile ihrer Einnahmen an Banken und Kreditkartenunternehmen abtreten wollen.

Daß Steuern oder Sozialabgaben hinterzogen werden ist erstmal nur eine Vermutung.

Ich boykottiere solche Läden jedenfalls nicht, sondern bevorzuge sie, weil sie meinem legitimen Bedürfnis nach und gerecht werden.

Ich kenne die Kosten der Banken nicht:

Sind diese abhängig vom Betrag oder abhängig von der Anzahl der Transaktionen? Wenn ein Laden sowieso Barzahlung anbietet, werden die Kosten vielleicht nicht sehr unterschiedlich sein, egal ob es um 10000 €/M oder 100000 €/M geht?

Dann könnte es schon sinnvoll sein, sich die Transaktionsgebühren zu sparen, die bei jedem einzelnen Kauf anfallen.

In dem Laden gibt es Gewürze, Tees usw. U.a. eine sehr leckere -Mischung. Also nicht gerade Ware, die man typischerweise umtauschen müßte.

Weder in DE noch AR darf man unterschiedliche Preise, abhängig von der Zahlungsart, anbieten. Das wäre wohl unlauterer Wettbewerb. Hier wie dort ist es aber erlaubt, einen Rabatt einzuräumen.

Wenn das zum Vorteil von stattfindet, kann ich das nur begrüßen.

Wäre schön, wenn es noch viel mehr Läden so machten.

Was für ein Rechtsbruch? Der Laden handelt vollkommen legal. Warum behauptest Du, er halte sich nicht an Gesetze?

Abgesehen davon ist ein . Bei einer Rechtsgüterabwägung sollte das sehr hoch bewertet werden.

Zur Zeit nervt Barzahlung in AR aber ganz schlimm. Die neuen, größeren billetes (10 k$, 20 k$) sollen wohl erst im Juni kommen und bis dahin nimmt man zum Einkaufen ganze Papierbündel mit. Dann muß man die ganzen Scheine beim Bezahlen zählen und Empfänger:in zählt nochmal 😞

Aber es ist wie immer: Die Menschen dort estan puteando, riendo und tragen es mit Fassung 🙂 (Und wählen schlimm.)

If that is not happening, then why, what is stopping you?

The (wrong and silly) assumption that everyone must use Google/Apple phones is expected from Big Tech these days but you are supposed to be among the good guys. Please help us be free from Google/Apple 🙂

As you write this on Mastodon, a free and federated network: How about moving the IM ecosystem to something free and federated, too?

There are multiple options. E.g. I use #Jabber by @xmpp since before Signal existed.

You still can use Signal using #slidge #slignal, an #XMPP gateway by @nicoco.

You even can choose a server that is not on Jeff Bezos' Amazon AWS 🙂

#Dino by @dino runs pretty well on my #Mobian #Pinephone, btw.

Freie und entgoogelte Android-Varianten gibt es viele. Ich hatte mal , den Vorläufer von .

Aber das löst das Problem nicht.

  1. -App ist trotzdem keine und läßt sich entsprechend nicht über oder einen anderen freien Appstore installieren.

  2. Auch ein entgoogeltes Android bleibt Android. Ich will kein Android, sondern ein freies, offenes OS, wie usw.

Note, that not everyone limits the use of the term to the AP protocol. Many apply it to AP, Diaspora, Matrix, , etc. After all, communication between the "sub-federations" is possible.

Hmm, after having run on my for a bit I noticed I really don't need it. (Because the video chat just doesnt work as it should).
Maybe I'll just reset the rpi again and focus on some leaner system.

Maybe I'll try with this time. Have to check if that has good voice and screenshare options right now. And maybe a web interface.

I haven't really done anything with that for a decade.

Just out of curiosity: Would it technically possible to use with a chip card? So that it cannot only be used for online transactions, but also to pay a ?

I ask, because I was very disappointed by restaurant in the other day. was OK, but they do not accept . In fact, the waiter took my money and they paid my bill using their card. Maybe Taler could be used for that use case in the future?

I'm not excited about any OS release. I'm using #Debian exclusively since many years, plus #Mobian since some time. One of the best things about Debian is, that new releases are not exciting at all 🙂

Now the winner is VS Code.

Who cares which editor will be the next winner? I just keep using , esp. as none of all the winners can read my email () or be my window manager () 🙂
