I would like to introduce you to my latest #ExperimentalMusic madness. This track is called Rush hour (all in my head), and it's a thematic #improvisation on Oldie (my 4-string #fretless cigar-box #guitar).
I may consider putting it up elsewhere for download if there's interest, but somehow I don't think most people would like to listen to it twice. Expect a rapid tempo, random odd meters, and no real tonal centre. #music

Vantage VP825B, factory fretless and I've yet to find any others that are so far online. So could be another slightly off spec bass from manufacturer Matsumoku in Japan.
Still cleaning it up, it's got some dings on the body, neck is pretty clean, brass needs to be cleaned. Sadly, one of the bridge screws didn't appreciate being asked to move and decide to destroy itself. So cleaning had been postponed until after drilling out the screw and fixing the hole has been done. I really don't want to drill but screw is too far in for any other method really.
Erik Satie's Gymnopédie, no.1 but a bit different. This is the Microtonal Guitar Duo with their version, featuring flavours of Hüzzâm, which—in Ottoman/Turkish classical music–is a pitch name, a cins (tetrachord, sometimes considered merely a version of hicâz with a contracted centre), and a makam with ascending-descending character in the Segâh family. Don't worry if that all sounds complex, because #MusicTheory involving makams really is a different world.
