@Solobasssteve I've had massive issues with Zoom as a software for taking lessons, dunno if it's not working with my audio interface or what, but the audio is incredibly garbled. Discord on the other hand worked tremendously. Arran was quite pleasantly surprised with how everything worked out after I asked him if we could switch to Discord for said reasons. Just my 2 cents, maybe this is interesting to you as well.

@Solobasssteve I did the entire dance with no usable results sadly. It's not that I'm opposed to using Zoom, but it's really the only software that didn't work for me when doing Video lessons, which is quite ironic 😹

youtube will mir plötzlich in jedem suchergebnis unter "for you" videos andrehen, wo kinder auf lebenslang- oder todesstrafe-urteile, die gegen sie verhängt werden, reagieren. immer mit möglichst verstörenden thumbnails. ich habe keine offizielle option gefunden, das abzuschalten. vielleicht sollte ich youtube mal sein lassen. danke für die hilfe, empfehlungsalgorithmus.

@posiputt Du kannst nur sagen das dich ein bestimmtes Video oder Kanal nicht interessiert. YT versucht mit periodisch immer wieder zu radikalisieren und mir klar zu machen das ich ein unterdrückter weißer Mann bin der ganz dringend lernen muss ein Alpha zu sein und Feminist*innen zu ZERSTÖREN! Es ist belastend.

Had loads of fun at the Dingwall clinic yesterday. It was a great honor to meet Sheldon in person and also had a nice chat with Philipp Rehm, who is a killer player 🤘 People were also quite interested in my bass that I brought to the event 😸
