Visual storytelling is so fascinating. In #Ranma ½, Shampoo has been nothing but a quirky—if slightly terrifying—antagonist since her introduction, but one sad drawing, sad line, and sad music flourish and I instantly feel so bad for her. #anime#AniMonday
For my #AniMonday viewing, I had my usual episodes of Uchuu Senkan #Yamato, #UruseiYatsura, #Ranma ½, for better (Ranma is still great) or worse (Yamato is not).
Most significant was the last episode of #BubblegumCrisis. What an interesting series. I'm glad it ends with a lighter episode, and that all the Knight Sabers had a chance to shine. A really solid 7 for me. Classic cyberpunk style in rich 80s OVA animation. Killer soundtrack. Too bad it didn't get its chance for proper closure at the time.
Now I have to figure out which #anime OVA will takes its place in the fourth spot next week.
Soun Tendo staunt nicht schlecht, als ein Panda mit einem Mädchen in Arm, in seinem Haus steht. Eigentlich hat Soun Tendo Genma mit seinem Sohn Ranma erwartet, damit Ranma sich eine Braut aussuchen kann. Doch es stellt sich heraus, daß der Panda Tendos alter Freund Genma ist. Genma erzählt Tendo von seiner Trainingsreise in Jusenkyuo, dort hat er mit Ranma ein Trainingsgefecht ausgeliefert. Beide fallen sie in die verfluchten Quellen, wenn Ranma mit kaltem Wasser in Berührung kommt, verwandelt er sich in ein Mädchen. Und wenn Genma mit kaltem Wasser in Berührung kommt, verwandelt er sich in einem Panda. Ranma hat aber noch ein Problem, das 16-jährige Mädchen Akane. Tendo und Genma haben entschieden, daß Ranma Akane heiraten soll. Ranma und Akane verstehen sich überhaupt nicht doch mit der Zeit empfinden sie Zuneigung füreinander, doch beide sind zu Dickköpfig um es zuzugebem... (Wikipedia)
