A website that has created achievements for games pre-PS3/Xbox 360, going as far back as the Colecovision. The site integrates with a number of emulators to capture and log these achievements. This has... potential.
My recent investment in a Steam Deck has got me thinking about some old games I want to go back to and complete, more so for the cathartic release of beating games I couldn't as a child.

What's the cheapest little home #videoGame console you can buy off aliexpress that would connect to #retroAchievements? I'd like to buy a few and set them up for my friends and family as presents. Install a frontend like #batocera, load it up with roms. Probably a #raspberrypi but maybe there's some other #SBC that'd do the job?
It seems to me that many #RetroHandhelds use the #RK3566 chip. So does the #OrangePi 3B. There's a build of #Batocera for it. It's got gigabit LAN, Wifi 5 and Bluetooth 5. I bet that would play up to PS1, and handle #retroAchievements just fine.
I finished a play through of #Castlevania SotN on #RetroPie tonight. Now time to decide if I play through again and get some of the #RetroAchievements I missed or move on to Super #Metroid.
Recently, I started to participate in the Aotw (Achivements of the week) on RetroAchievements, and I found out that exist a homebrew version of Cave Story on the MegaDrive
