The UK reveals it's spending millions on quantum navigation

The UK has just completed commercial flight trials of quantum-based navigation systems that are designed to be immune to conventional jamming and spoofing.

This little book is a gem. It has all sorts of info. Thread specs, joist spans, clamping force of fasteners. Gas laws & constants. All types of electric motor specs, airport codes, ice thickness weight capacity. Resister codes Mineral tables.
Yes all this stuff is online, but this is a book and requires no battery, nor internet.
It's under $15 usd

I have a candy-coloured from ~2000.

It still works, though it mostly lives in a cupboard now.

And if I plug it into ethernet (no wifi then, dial-up was the norm at home) and open a well-designed site like bbc.co.uk or gov.uk, even using IE5 or Netscape Navigator the web is usable.

is possible.
