Her first and last original song before graduation. It gives me a feeling of nostalgia, like a song from the from the 80s-90s (What's the genre even called? is it citypop?)
There must be a special relationship between space and progressive rock/metal music. Maybe because prog is complex, quite all-embracing, and it favors so many diverse themes to be treated and thoroughly explored.
Cosmos leaves us so many open things to imagination. Although we know much more than before, there are still so many unknown things. Space and cosmos are utterly complex subjects.
LOONA may be disbanded and thankfully away from the toxic label they were signed to, but no reason to not enjoy their music due to that label. This song is still one of my favorites of theirs.
Reading some of the other #JukeboxFridayNight posts the #SongsOfTheCosmos theme was prompted because of the Matariki holiday in New Zealand which celebrates the appearance of the Matariki / Pleiades constellation in the Southern skies and is considered the Maori New Year . Tonight's theme for #JukeboxFridayNight is #SongsOfTheCosmos, in honour of #Matariki. First sighting of this star cluster (aka Pleiades) in mid-winter marks the beginning of the Māori new year. We did a theme based on outer space a while back, so this'll make a fine sequel. :)
