Added a goblin shaman to the army! Need to do a goblin unit for him to lead. ( got to build the 40 from the battalion box)

He looks grumpy so I think he will get some spells off!

I swear I’m not just screaming at you because I want to, swear @erikcats made me do it… that and I want to scream Mordheim at you. 1/7

The Brothers of the Green Handkerchief. As nice a mob of religious zealots as you’re ever going to meet - including some situably badly named characters including Captain Heinehienicksoon Von Karmle Glassen Auge and his three dugs, Duggle, Gruffe, and Wafver Wafve.

The beginnings of a Bretonnian Warband whose silly names have stuck around and now are the names of my Brets, including Rupert d’Hallion.

You might recognise some of these craft souls - they double up as my Stir River Partol for , they’re the same in but run as Reiklanders.

Some hired swords of much renown including my favourite entry Luthor Wolfenbaum. Also on display are the bane of my Mordheim Existence - the Dwarf Treasurer Hunters piloted by @seanayres5.

Here’s some pieces from two warbands I’m working who couldn’t be further apart. They’ll soon grace the Tabletop and make names for themselves when I drag some folks together to introduce them to in the not too distant future.

Long time no toot. finish line is just around the corner, and I’m still in the middle of things.

I went in on some some watered down skeleton horde, followed up with a glaze of Wraithbone with a pin prick of red through it to help bring up the colour (recommendation from an Uncle who actually knows what he’s talking about). Pretty happy with where I’ve got to tonight - but seeing a couple of evenings still ahead here!

Cult of the Possessed Miniature from Mordheim. Painted in off white creams, reds and blacks. This one is charging with a large spear/Halberd.

The diorama base is still a million miles from the finish line, so that’ll have to be a follow up I’m afraid. Have a wee sneak peek. 😶😶😶

Possibly my last WIP shots of Morgiana - cause she is soooo close to finished. My makeup inspiration is “lead-caked Queen Elizabeth”

Bit more progress here. Popped on the Wyldwood for the hard leather, did another rough coat on both the whites and the creamy cloths, then a big old dunk of Agrax. I’ll drybrush the white to bring it up again and do the remaining leathers, and that’ll be me onto weapons/metals and final touch ups. Then what I really want to be doing - shields!!

Painted up this Bretonnian peasant bowman today as a tester for when I paint the rest of the regiment.

So, I’ve had massive notions about these hunched over Chaos Warriors for a while - more of a painting project I want to get to rather than an army.. although that said… I got an offer on a second regiment that I managed to resist for a whole ten seconds… anyway… where’s the methylated spirits

Whilst looking at GW-alternative miniatures for The Old World, I've found some fine, cheaper ones from the Oathmark range.

Which now has me interested in Oathmark itself. Looks a good little rank-and-flank game. Anyone played Oathmark on here and can comment?

Test run for "regiment" bases, I really like how the elements cross over, though the bevel to the bases makes the separation quite extreme. I used to run my skaven on strips with only the back rank on individual bases so I might do those too.

If someone was planning to set up a where the were of , would you be interestedÉ

@SJohnRoss

The would be me. I have no experience with and my last experience as GM was a that went down in flames before my old gamer club closed (more than a decade ago)

All I know so far is I plan a campaign set in an of where did not happen (at least not yet).

I am thinking of people joining a to improve their lot in life and finding themselves torn and their homes.
