The #GM would be me. I have no experience with #WHFRP and my last experience as GM was a #Vampire#Chronicle that went down in flames before my old gamer club closed (more than a decade ago)
As a new DM in the early days, I really had a hard time understanding why a PC would be awarded experience pts simply for picking a few coins up off the ground (sacrilegious, I know, but there it is). Truthfully, it took me a few months to come around to the idea, despite it being clearly explained in the DMG why GP does, in fact, equal XP.

I must admit I never used it. I was corrupted by WFRP and Palladium Fantasy early on, and have usually awarded XP based on tasks accomplished instead. I know, it’s very reliant on GM discretion, but it’s worked well for me.
