Pens as Xenoblade X characters, a thread for a very small population.
Hope Alanzi. You initially notice how pretty she is, but she's sturdier than she looks. Patient, careful, generous, her own self. Communication is important to her. TWSBI Diamond 580 in rose gold. F. #TWSBI#XenobladeX
I don't really need to build a collection of TWSBI ECOs, but considering my recent thing about getting brown pens, brown inks, and coffee-related pens and inks, this one may be a purchase. 😅
Two new fountain pens.
To my surprise, the Swipe EF is a wetter nib than the Jinhao. Not sure yet how much of that could be due to the ink.
As you can see, my right hand writing (25 days and counting) still needs some work. #FountainPens#TWSBI#Jinhao#handwriting#ambidextrous
Question for ink pen owners: I'm going on a trip and driving to a higher elevation (2000ft/600m gain) and I want to take my pens with me. Any suggestions on not having them end up a mess? Or should I leave them at home [big sad eyes]?
Does anyone know what the 'real' capacity of the #TWSBI Diamond 50 ink well? I was able to fit a 60 ml bottle of ink in it with some room to spare so i'm guessing maybe 65-70ml. For something that's supposed to be 50ml, that's a significant amount of available slackfill.
Start of the month, I bought my first fountain pen since college. Now I have a second. I would like to emphasize how short February is, and how this is absolutely the last pen I will buy.
TWSBY Eco in safety orange so I don't lose it, Herbin Perle Noire ink because basic, extra fine nib to make lists.
#FPQuestion of the day:
If a person expressed interest in #FountainPens to you, what would be your top three recommendations for a “starter pen”, and why? Have your top recs changed over the years?
I bought ink for my brand new TWSBI fountain pen. Okay, two inks. Herbin Perle Noir, useful, roughly what I was planning to get (my local store didn't have Pelikan). And the deep blue iroshizuku which is just so pretty. I want to dab it behind my ears tbh.
