Tip of the day: When working in #DEVONthink, it is not unusual to have more than one database open, navigating back and forth between groups. As you open, close, create, and edit documents, it’s not uncommon to eventually lose track of something. Fortunately, smart groups can help corral these files. #pkm #productivity #tipoftheday #workflow https://www.devontechnologies.com/blog/20220712-todays-files-devonthink

📋ADHDers love curating Reading Lists to stay on track.

🫣Going back to them, though, is another story.

Have you tried giving yourself little rewards when you check off read items from the list? Because they totally count as mini victories! 🥳

It's true that neurodivergent minds are energized and motivated when they set and execute goals, gain achievements, communicate, create, strategize, innovate, or serve and connect with people.

But the constant whirlwind of killer ideas and endless possibilities, without the reigns of process, structure, and execution, can get debilitating.

🧰 To help you crush those distractions, we've curated a list of helpful tools available for you to use on our browser.

Building systems and leveraging productivity tools can set you up for success and manage your scattered thoughts.

Our built-in Reading List is one such example, read the blog for more👇

#Productivity rules:

FILTER THOSE EMAILS, CITIZEN!

Get a stupid weekly email from someone you can't block? Automated crap? Create a filter/rule to mark it as read, archive it, delete it, etc.

Click unsubscribe on EVERY Brand email, and make a filter for "we've updated our privacy policy" those go straight to read + trash for me.

Similarly, manage the hell out of your notifications on mobile etc. I just turn everything off by default, which is usually ideal.

Tip of the day: Many people use tags as a way to add some context to their documents. We have blogged on the subject more than once, but one option some people may not be aware of is nested (or hierarchical) tags. These are tags with child tags, or related tags within tags. Tip of the day: We have had some requests from people that want to use only for capturing data, not for carrying databases around with them. They just want to capture, sync, then clean out the mobile database. Our sync is a mirroring sync, so this isn’t possible on its own. However, it is possible if you’re refiling the items on another device. https://www.devontechnologies.com/blog/20210709-devonthink-only-for-capture
