Dear :

In my firm, I decide whether or not we use your kit. And sure, right now, we're an shop, but we're not married to that family. (We're not even married to the architecture family!)

This last week I've been evaluating a + chip. It's not going well. I'm sure the chip is just fine ... but I can't tell. In the end we're probably not going to go with it, even though it's cheaper than its alternatives.

Here's how to avoid this.

Would you prefer for on to be distributed as ? Actually, I would.
Would also be easier to keep them up-to-date. And, no more files and folders scattered all over my home folder. 😅️

@x42 @ercanbrack 4/5 Since I help with their for I found the idea appealing that they could simply offer their plugins via with less worries.
Because what they don't want (and what often even keeps them from supporting Linux) are OS-specific problems (e.g. runs on , not on etc.). They are usually downright afraid of and the associated support effort. 🤯️

@bumbar 1/2 Ableton are not the most agile. 😜 The hope remains that they will make Live a real . That would certainly be good for , as then perhaps even more would feel motivated to port their products. I think many shy away from the expected support effort. But I think it would be good enough if there would be limited support (or none).
