In 2019 I made a bathtub costume for my son, to fit over his wheelchair. We called it the Bathmobile, because it had working headlights and a license plate. It's made from discarded cardboard (a wardrobe box turns out to be the perfect size), frappuccino lids, tap lights, scrubbers, and rubber duck from the 99-cent store, and a lot of spray paint, foil tape, and duct tape. #wheelchaircostume#costume#bathtub#bubblebath#Halloween
In 2014, I made a steampunk submarine costume for my son's wheelchair. When the chair was in motion, the pinwheel twirled, the wheel's design spiraled, and the periscope was retractable.
