The recent #UxCollective newsletter had a link for a user research report by #maze, which I wanted to download for my wife, because I have a "fake" #DuckDuckGo email.
I was expecting I could download it "for free" but have to give them my name, company I work at and my email.
A fucked up #DeceptivePattern because something is not for free when you're giving away private information. I want to write about this and ask you to send me your "best" examples of this pattern.
Lead by Prof. Kalina Bontcheva (University of Sheffield), our colleagues and projects partners in AI4Media, AI4Trust, TITAN, and verai.ai have teamed up to publish a new white paper:
"Generative AI and Disinformation: Recent Advances, Challenges, and Opportunities."
They have recently released the #whitepaper for #fleekNetwork which not only has #IPFS but also decentralized edge CDN.
Most exciting of all is that they have a #Services concept that seems to allow for running your code on other people's nodes and getting a #crypto guarantee that the work was done!
