You know how Google’s new feature called AI Overviews is prone to spitting out wildly incorrect answers to search queries? In one instance, AI Overviews told a user to use glue on pizza to make sure the cheese won’t slide off (pssst…please don’t do this.)...
I think the hype is warranted in terms of technological progress, it’s just the way a lot of big corporations are using it is braindead and often anti-consumer.
It is technically doing exactly what it’s supposed to do, but the people in charge at Google seem to have blatantly ignored one of the most important rules of programming: “garbage in, garbage out”. They paid for shitpost-tier data, and now it’s doing exactly what anyone with half a brain would expect it to do with that information.

True lol, I’m just saying that the option being on the table is important. If they don’t fix the issue, they risk everyone leaving for a better 196 elsewhere.
Dating a depressed/suicidal girl for almost 4 years through middle school. To this day she’s still the funniest and smartest person I’ve ever met, but boy did she put me through hell back then.
But I came out of it with an unbelievable amount of patience and mental fortitude. I also learned how to avoid feeding into extreme attention seeking behavior while still having a productive conversation.
(TL;DR): I love being terrified, and this has led me to a fascination with imagining being a witness to / a victim of various tragedies. Is that weird?...
I don’t get enjoyment from a tragic event occurring. And I disagree with your definition of morbid curiosity.
If you actually read what I wrote, you’ll see that I’m saying I enjoy being scared, not watching people die. The whole point of the “Roy” thing is that nobody is ever actually in danger. What I’m wanting is an artificial way to experience things like that, which would satiate my curiosity, morbid and otherwise, and gives me the nightmare experience at the same time.
