I wish there is an explainer for every immigrant to understand the American healthcare system, as a part of their visa application. It’s letting the immigrants know what (the hell) they are signing up for.
@dx it somehow works when you are backed by employer’s insurance and have basic life maintenance but totally falls apart when when either of these condition fails. It’s like nobody thought of the edge cases or did stress testing on this system
