My favorite feature is our mini-weather window mode. When resizing the window to be smaller, it turns into a widget-like mode. They are glanceable, like a menu bar item on the Mac, and can be placed anywhere in your space.

While I personally stopped tweeting in May, it was clear that now was the time for Flipboard to stop tweeting as well.

This is a sad outcome given that Twitter was the platform we got started on in 2010 and I was a board member there with Jack, Ev and Dick. But that Twitter is gone now. And the future is the open social web.

I am trying to relax about my CT scan today.
I have to fast until 2:30. I will probably get cranky.
Summer tells me to sit down and tell her why I'm worried. I told her I always worry about things I have no control over.
She says she doesn't have control over anything but has faith that we have her best interests at heart. I said that's not quite the same, but I get the sentiment.
I told her I love her too.
Summer needs to hang out her shingle that the doctor is in.

I am stepping back from the #Tusky project with immediate effect.

I discovered severe lapses in how the Tusky project's donations (received via #OpenCollective) were being handled. When I reported those to the project's private "Tusky Contributors" Matrix channel the financial admins tone policed the feedback, refused to engage with the concerns I and others raised, and demanded the discussion be stopped.
