Started with this week as it's in and pretty much every person on this planet hypes this game to the moon.

I have to say: I absolutely understand why people love this game.

The soundtrack is awesome, the visuals are totally awesome and I really like the humor. The gameplay loop feels pretty nice and is much more varied than I expected.

Also good as a father of a toddler: The play sessions can be as small as a few minutes and you can pretty much pause the game at every moment. (Except a few cut scenes, but these are mostly under 20 seconds long so far)

I can highly recommend this game.

I don't use Discord often these days but what the heck? Why is this what the bottom of the app looks like now?

The text field is tiny. And there are so many buttons that have nothing to do with chatting.

It's a damn chat app. Just show me the text field and a plus icon for media.

@kaiserkiwi Nicht sicher ob es Dir hilft, aber vielleicht willst Du ja was anderes kaufen. Wir sind mit unserer Delonghi Dinamica sehr zufrieden. Nur ein kleiner Riss im Kunststoff nach Jahren.

The one thing that annoys me most about the ubiquitous coverage of a $3.500 headset is not even about the Vision Pro.

As someone whose only VR headset is the PS VR2, it's painful to see that not a single video I watched, not a single post I read even mentions it. Every headset on this planet is mentioned, compared and shown. But nobody talks about the PS VR2.

That's really frustrating, when you paid 600€ for something. Especially if you realize not even Sony mentions it anymore really. And most importantly: Game Developers ignoring it almost completely already.

@kaiserkiwi Ja, da stimme ich Dir zu. Da ich keins habe, verfolge ich das nur selten. Aber es scheint als hätte Sony die VR2 einfach sterben lassen.

Es kommen ja noch nicht mal mehr Sony Titel dafür raus. Potente Hardware mit der PS5 ist halt nicht alles und die Meta Quest wurde wohl ein vielfaches verkauft.

It's time to address the elephant in the room, or actually Threads

As many of you may know Threads went live in Europe and with that they started testing federation with the Fediverse

At this point there is a choice to make

  1. Block Threads on instance level, that will take away the choice for each person

  2. Do not block and let people block if they want to(1 search and 2 clicks)

After much consideration and talks I think we need to go with option 2 and let people decide for themselves

Ich kann nur so Feinheiten wie Süß oder Salzig noch unterscheiden. Das war es 🙈

Mein Staubsaugerroboter hat offenbar eine Fehlfunktion im Sensor der Seitenbürste. Daher meldet er seit Kurzem ständig, dass es dort ein Problem gibt. Ist augenscheinlich aber alles in Ordnung.

Ich kann ihn auch einfach wieder starten und er setzt die Reinigung fort.

Glücklicherweise reicht das Ding seinen Error-Status an #HomeAssistant weiter. Also hab ich eine Automation geschrieben, die ihn nochmal neu startet, wenn dieser Fehler auftritt. 😅

Bin gespannt, wie es funktioniert.
