    2017 ist ungefähr 7 Jahre her. Schau dir mal an, was unter “Germany” so gepostet wird.

    Ich hatte vor einigen Jahren ein paar CS:GO Waffenkisten für je 3-5 CT oder so gekauft (Investment wenige Euro) und vor einiger Zeit für ein Vielfaches wieder verkauft. Ca. 80 Euro Gewinn. Da hab ich mich beim Verkauf jeder einzelnen Kiste tatsächlich gefühlt wie Dagobert, der per Telefon Aktien handelt.

    Das mit Kunst war bei mir genau so. Nachdem ich es in der 8./9. Klasse abwählen konnte, hatte ich gehofft, dass es in der 10. mehr Theorie beinhaltet. Aber nein, quasi nichts. Musik war da immer sehr viel ausgewogener bei uns. In der Oberstufe hatten wir einen im Musikkurs, der konnte noch keine Noten lesen aber trotzdem hatte er Spaß und hat sich gut angestellt. In Kunst hatten die künstlerischen Schüler Spaß,der Rest hat sich gequält.

    Verrückt. Ich bin vom der Sache her auch auf der Seite der Anwohner. Aber hier nicht einzusehen, wo das Problem liegt und dann solche Vergleiche an den Haaren herbeizuziehen, vermittelt den Eindruck eines bockigen Kinds.

    Ursprünglich dachte ich daran, das in ein Meme zu verpacken und mich in !ich_iel über meine eigene Dummheit auszukotzen. Dafür wurde die Geschichte aber zu lang, weshalb ich dachte lieber daraus eine Tirade einen “hilfreichen” Guide zu machen, was euch blüht, wenn ihr diese PIN vergessen solltet....

    Wenn du dir die PIN nicht merkst, ist es natürlich mehr Aufwand. Wenn du es nutzt wie es gedacht ist, erspart es viel Arbeit.

    Meine Erfahrung mit dem Vodafone-Support: Man darf sich bei wirklichen Problemen nicht mit Standardantworten abspeisen lassen und wird am Anfang von Abteilung zu Abteilung gereicht. Wenn man dann aber bei der richtigen Person angekommen ist, wurde mir immer recht schnell geholfen (wenige Tage, bis ein Techniker da war). Von einem Freund bei der Telekom habe ich gehört, dass man gerne mal 3-4 Wochen warten darf, bis jemand kommt. Sind aber halt beides nur Einzelerfahrungen und es ist vermutlich stark regionsabhängig.

    Keine Revolution? Wenn das tatsächlich so kommt, sind das imo die ersten drei Treppenstufen in die richtige Richtung auf einmal genommen. Vielleicht sind meine Ansprüche schon so niedergetreten worden, aber ich bin schon super glücklich über die eine Fahrradstraße, die bald durch ein guten Teil meiner Stadt führt. So eine echte Fahrradstraße, ohne Autos und frisch asphaltiert.

    Autofreie Innenstädte, Tempo 20-30, für PKW grsperrte Tunnel, Rückbau von Ampeln, das klingt wie ein Traum.

    Normally Firefox itself should ask first if google is allowed to access your location. Maybe try find that setting in firefox and disable it. I would imagine if firefox itself blocks the request already, it isn’t even handed over to gnome. But that’s pure speculation.

    Ich bin nie heulend nach Hause gekommen, aber Spaß dran hatte ich auch nicht. Ich war nicht unsportlich, aber ich habe nie Leichtathletik gemacht und war dementaprechend schlecht. In der Schule trainiert hat man das nicht wirklich (ein bisschen, aber nicht so viel, dass man besser werden konnte). Also waren natürlich die die besten, die Leichtathletik im Sportverein betrieben haben.

    Verschiedene Sportveranstaltungen ohne großen Leistungsdruck sind imo genau der richtige Weg, um Kinder zum Sport zu motivieren. Jedes Jahr versagen, weil man kein Leichtathlet ist, in der Schule keiner wird und privat kein Interesse daran hat, bringt niemanden weiter.

    Was habt ihr für Erfahrungen mit Fitnessstudio kündigen?

    Ich überlege mich beim Fitnessstudio anzumelden. Da ich mir nicht sicher bin ob ich es wirklich lange durchziehen werde, denke ich jetzt schon darüber nach wie die Kündigung des Abos läuft. Bei mir geht es speziell um Cleverfit aber ich würde gerne auch von anderen Fitnessstudios hören. Ich habe vor ein 1-Monatsvertrag...

    Habe gekündigt und dann war es erledigt (nicht Cleverfit).

    Es gibt überall schwarze Schafe, ich glaube nicht, dass Fitnesstudios im generellen besonders schlimm sind.

    Online liest du natürlich nur negatives. Niemand schreibt irgendwo, wie normal seine Kündigung abgelaufen ist.

    To be honest, VMs are probably the easiest way to do it, like many said already. You don’t need to deep dive into virtualization to set up a few VMs and use them to learn about different distros. No need to think about how to partition your drive, mounting swap partition, disable hibernation… Want to try out another OS? Just create a new VM and you a ready to use it. You can simply create shared folders between host and guest and enable shared clipboard, if you want. Switching between the different systems is much easier than shutting down and rebooting another OS. You can even run them at the same time if you want and your hardware is good enough. And aside from the better convenience, the potential to break something is much less compared to tinkering around with a multi boot system, imo.

    I use VirtualBox, mostly because I started with that years ago amd had no reason to change. From what you described, it’s capable of your project.

    Just moved from Motorola, any worthwhile tools to emulate moto flashlight and camera gestures?

    All I find is suggestions from a few years ago, so probably outdated or maybe there appeared some better tools in the meantime, there are some apps in the play store but I need something good privacy wise, no training demon, also small battery life impact would be nice...

    I have motorola phones for at least five years now amd didn’t know that the camera gesture can switch between front and back also. Thanks for that info!

    July 2021 on Mastodon. I can’t remember why, probably because it sounded like an interesting concept. Later I tried to use lemmy a few months before the reddit stuff started, but there was not enough content, so I forgot about it until a few months ago.

    Ja, ich versuche es und mache es gerne. Wird aber leider immer schwieriger. Zuletzt habe ich Boxen mit Verstärker von Logitech repariert, bei dem was auf der Netzteilplatine vom Verstärker kaputtgegangen war. Habe die Platine ausgebaut und durch ein passendes Steckernetzteil ersetzt. Funktioniert wieder und hat vielleicht 15 Euro gekostet. Und etwas Zeit, aber es hat Spaß gemacht.

    I have a Wireguard VPN to my home network and there it works exactly like you tried it. Connect to VPN, then use the internal IP to connect to the service. Maybe there are settings in the server or client that prevent that. For example, you can set specific IP ranges to not be routed through the VPN (so you can access a local service in Network A even though you are connected to VPN B).

    I’m no network expert, but maybe some additional information about your setup can help other user help you better.

    I left reddit because of asshole decisions. I think 18 Euro per year is pretty fair for an app you probably use every day. I prefer one time payment over subscription, too. But the price for sync is nothing to rant about imo.

    Ich habe auch einen von Reishunger, den normalen digitalen. Ja, ist nicht günstig, aber der wurde mir von einem Freund empfohlen, der den seit längerem nutzt und zufrieden ist. Ich liebe ihn bisher auch, Reiskochen nach dem fire-and-forget Prinzip mit super Ergebnis!
