Preventing a #COVID infection is the only way to prevent #LongCOVID. Each COVID-19 #reinfection increases your chances of developing #LongCOVID. Each infection can be different. Do not use past infection experiences to make decisions about your level or risk for #LongCOVID. It is irrelevant.

What have you developed as a result of #LongCOVID?

#LongCOVID is systemic and results in a collection of associated conditions, making care extremely difficult to find and/ or coordinate. These specialties lack interest and therefore clinicians and researchers within. We need more clinician education and research into these conditions!

#WHO “ending the COVID Pandemic” is asinine, and a failure of science and medicine. Politics have no place in science, and the science about the consequences of #covid & #longcovid are being denied & ignored, costing millions their life, and health. The healthcare system has crumbled, the economic fall out is astronomical. COVID is killing & infecting daily and no one has a cure or truly effective treatment. Shame on @who & every other entity failing the public they took an oath to protect.
