Paxton is in a statewide office though, Gerrymandering is real but we have (had, I just moved out of our shithole state) no excuse for Paxton or Abbott. Other than conservatives have a thorough hold on Texas politics.

Tesla made good cars before. It is reasonable to assume that they would continue to do that. The people that have a cyberteuck today are people that paid for it years ago, so they wouldn’t have known how shitty it actually turned out to be.

Fanboys are gonna point out that it CAN be overriden inside, but to my knowledge it is behind a panel you have to pry off. I don’t know why it is gone, it could be Musk thought it was cool, but Tesla takes a lot of analogue inputs and makes them digital to save money, so that would be my guess.
