Dear ,
I'm looking for a page on the Internet, which list dozens of different activities and methods on new ways of working.

It was gathered under a known term (two words?). The page has a table with many activities, all represented with a small square black and white symbol.

Can anybody give me a nudge in the right direction? Might be related to Holocracy as well?

what's the English or German saying that one has to dress to become some job? not "dress to impress", but more like "fake it until you make it" but with clothes?

@kaia Maybe "Kleider machen Leute"? It means that the choice of your clothes will have an impact on how people perceive you.

Based on a novel with the same name from Gottfried Keller. A tailor makes himself a rich business man by tailoring himself a nice suit.

    Organspende ist und bleibt ein wichtiges Thema. Speziell in Deutschland ist die Bereitschaft zu spenden im Vergleich zu anderen europäischen Ländern gering, da es hier ein Opt-In statt eines Opt-Out Verfahren gibt. Ich habe vor 30 Jahren das große Glück gehabt, eine Niere und damit die Chance auf ein "zweites" Leben bekommen. Dafür bin ich sehr dankbar.

    First impression: Like the art style (yes it is different but it has details AND allows me to add things in my head on top because of the style), like the music and the love the attention to detail in Guybrushs scrapbook.

    Oh, finally the real ending of monkey island 2... but there is no lightning in the eyes and this just took a way different direction that I was expecting. Which is great, because I like to be surprised.

    In the first two Monkey Island games Elaine never fights with a sword. Her strength comes from being one step ahead of everyone. She doesn't need to conform to the male power fantasy trope to be strong and that is what I have always found interesting about Elaine.

    @grumpygamer Some people believe that Monkey Island™️ is "just a good game", but there is so much more... the self-references (no poodles were harmed), breaking the fourth wall (Herman speaking to the player), setting own rules and playing with it ("please please please [...]" to get the cloaking necklace).

    This serious silliness, the incredible graphics (which still look good today), the music - This is so much more than "just a good game". This sparked my love for the whole adventure genre. 🧡

    At the 1978 Science Fiction Film Awards, William Shatner provided one of the most unique covers of a pop song, certainly in a sci-fi convention, but maybe at any convention, or anywhere.

    Over the years, Shatner has weirdly denied it happened, but it did, and Flemishdog found a U-MATIC videotape with an unaltered, high-quality version of Shatner's "Rocket Man". And here it is.

    @textfiles You should all listen to Shatners album called "HAS BEEN", which has been produced by BEN FOLDS. It is a masterpiece (of creating a record with spoken word bits from Shatner and gracefully placing them in music, so you do not even recognize, that Shatner is just talking). I love it!
