Btw, the comp that’s from is a phenomenal collection of 101 tracks by a huge collection of incredible punk bands, all recording tracks that are 30 seconds or less.

It came out 25 years ago, shockingly, but is still wonderful.

I’m trying to find information on the people we’re supposed to be voting for in the council elections today, and it ain’t easy.

They’ve all spent a fortune on shit to throw through our door, all of which has been funneled into the recycling, but basically none of them have a website with any information.

How hard is it in this day and age to throw up a quick, single page site that simply lists your plans, with a link to your socials?

And yes, I could have actually read the shit they put through the door, but honestly, I kind of resent the intrusion at this point. Reams and reams of paper, all spelling out the ways in which the other guy is a cunt, and that they would never, while not really promising to stand for much.

It’s frustrating as all hell.

We witnessed this on Saturday.

We were stuck in traffic around that fucker for the better part of a mile. When he first came up I genuinely thought there was a Spitfire flying over or something. It was making one hell of a racket.

He ended up about five cars ahead of us, and suddenly it went quiet as the bike stopped in the middle of the road. As we drove by we saw the smoke pouring out. Looked in the mirror and it was aflame.

Messing about with Garageband, and am really quite annoyed at how Apple have stripped out much of what made it great for radio production. It still does what it needs to do, but they’ve steered it hard into just music production, which is a shame.

It’s just been pointed out to me that the reason Apple runs a trade-in programme for older devices is so they can reduce the size of the used market, and has fuck all to do with recycling.

That’s blown my tiny mind.

@PatternChaser The point is more that they’re shredding otherwise working devices, devices that could be refurbished and reused at a significantly lower environmental cost. @ftg
