Truth. That’s why we need to stop faffing around with voting for ‘nice to have’ candidates. Get the tories out so thoroughly that they are finished for a generation at least. Get Labour in and then we can look at other options. But we must get the tories into the bin first.

Sorry, but why is this a British problem?

Why don’t we just adopt the leaf as currency? There’s millions of them and they grow on trees.

Let’s see the rest of it then!

Thanks - wonder what the second bedroom looked like. Spacious I expect /s

Surprised to see a bath though. Would have thought a shower would be the order of the day. Not like you’re going to have a nice relaxing soak with candles and bubbles .

I've moved from the free tier and started paying for the premium tier with and their VPN/Mail/Calendar/cloud storage/password manager services. It's worth every (reasonably priced) cent to know my online presence isn't being dissected and sold off.

Sort of agree. We ought to be able to print calendars.

Mum's shock as sex toy, knickers and lube left near son's grave in Doncaster cemetery (www.nationalworld.com)

A grieving mum has spoken of her shock after finding a sex toy, knickers and lube dumped near to her son’s grave in a Doncaster cemetery. The woman, who has asked not to be named, says she discovered the items close to headstones in Doncaster’s Rose Hill Cemetery – and decided to remove them to avoid upsetting other...

Monday

Tuesday

• Soup / soup

Wednesday

• This Isn’t Roast Chicken, taters, yorkies, carrots, peas / Cottage pie & veg

Thursday

• Filled pasta & sauce / Filled pasta & sauce

Friday

• Chilli & rice / Fish o chip

Saturday

• Beyond Burgers, salad, coleslaw

Sunday

• This Isn’t Hunter’s Chicken, jackets, brocolli

Those days with a / have next week’s meal. Usually something quick as we’re both working late. Beyond Burgers as they were on offer otherwise we always have Linda McCartney Burgers. Chilli and Cottage pie usually made with This Isn’t Beef Mince or lentils. Filled pasta is veggie.

Maybe eggs, never cheese as lactose intolerant with the salad but otherwise pescatarian. I spent 40 odd years suffering before realising milk and it’s by products don’t agree with me. And it it gorse worse as I got older.

Ha! Usually it’s home cooked. McCains chips and breaded cod, or sometimes fish cakes and peas. That way it’s guaranteed to be skinless and wife won’t eat other fish. Monday this week is from The Sea Tree in Ware as we have family here. Don’t do that so much now as quite expensive but it is excellent.

If they did a vegan version like I had in Brick Lane, I’d opt for that.

In a few weeks we have 4 days at Haven’s Hopton site. As both of us are ‘older’ and demands aren’t that much and money is tight, we can go out of season. In another few weeks the price will have gone up over £1k. Don’t know how some people (especially with kids) manage it.

Thank you - we are lucky enough at the moment to not really need it. I’m 67 and still working (albeit part time) and she has a few years before retirement, but if either of us had to give up it would really hurt. Considering I have state pension, and ones from 20 years at BT and 17 in the Army, you’d think we’d be OK. We should be. That was how it was supposed to work.

I will follow your advice though and see what gives - we’re currently downsizing at the moment as we will not be able to afford the rent here in a couple of years.

Could be because they turn out shite, overpriced and gimmicky alcopops.

Sometimes it takes a while. It took nearly 2 years before Daisy would sit on my lap - but only if I have her special blue blanket on my lap first! https://feddit.uk/pictrs/image/dae6e514-77b8-41c1-b6a8-a35b445d0b06.jpeg
