My favourites from this year's , in order from most favourite downwards:

  • Sara Siipola - Paskana (great production, great topic, great execution)
  • Sini Sabotage - Kuori ma (great bass house pop track, it's basically really addictive ear-candy)
  • Windows95man - No Rules! (feels a little too tryhardy Kaarija clone but still a fun song in its own right)
  • Cyan Kicks - Dancing With Demons (I'm just a sucker for anything melodic and metal)

One of the UMK entries is called Peel Me and has the singer singing about peeling her like an onion. The song slaps (the bass house instrumental is like candy to my EDM-accustomed ears) but I can't help but think, is she trying to impress the Finnish audience or Shrek? @eurovision

@CandyFlossOfDoom @eurovision The song is quite fun (I generally like that sort of euro-trance) but it does kinda feel like they want to recreate the niche success that Subwoolfer had in 2022.

Same opinion goes for Windows95man on UMK, with the success of Cha cha cha.

So I got the Steam Deck, and it didn't turn on. No power LED glowing either when I plugged it in. The BIOS reset route seems to work, though. Valve really needs to address these issues. ​:woozy_baa:​

@volpeon Given what I've heard of GLS about delivering Steam Decks, I probably wouldn't trust them with dragons. :drgn_0_0:​

@volpeon tbh, part of it is also Valve, they package the Steam Deck in very obvious packaging. As much shit as Amazon deservedly gets, they do let you know if your package will be in revealing packaging and lets you opt into concealing it with a box for free.

@frosty @eurovision Just listened to the Erika Norwich and KEiiNO tracks. They're both on par with each other IMO, though because I like songs about falling in love with robots the Erika track slightly edges out lmao

Nice to see Steps and CHVRCHES battling it out, but it seems like Screen Violence won this year lol. Glad to see that genre tags are getting used this year, hopefully we get more taggers as ListenBrainz grows.
