FrankLaskey,

Also on Steam for the same price in case the trade off between having it with DRM but with an easier time installing on your Steam deck is worth it to you.

FrankLaskey,

What is the deal with any negative Biden polling news being downvoted into oblivion?

FrankLaskey,

Just jumping in to say that c/lemmytellyousomething should definitely be the name of an advice / self-help community on here

FrankLaskey,

The study included 180 male psychologists from King Khalid University in Saudi Arabia

This is kind of a small sample size and why only males? Do they not have female psychologists in Saudi Arabia?

FrankLaskey,

Yeah I have the Killswitch from Dbrand. It’s a great case and the travel cover makes the deck borderline indestructible. It is a bit pricey though at $75 but that also includes a kickstand (with built in microSD storage) and a skin of your choice. dbrand.com/shop/grip/steam-deck-cases

FrankLaskey,

Okay a quick search tells me this is short for Single-root input/output virtualization right? Can you explain why that would be advantageous in a GPU?

FrankLaskey,

Re-liquefying under heat treatment I don’t know but if you can forego that requirement, I would recommend E6000. If you do use it make sure to apply and allow to dry/cure in a well-ventilated area. It’s a great adhesive but has its fair share of carcinogens you don’t want to be breathing in…

FrankLaskey,

It looks like it will support DLSS3 (frame generation) so if you have a 40 series card (or almost any card with a bit of time to install that DLSS to FSR3 mod) that should be a nice boost.

FrankLaskey,

How is this compared to Lutris? Especially for Epic Games and GOG titles.

FrankLaskey,

Okay. You can easily do that with Lutris as well by just adding a non-Steam game. So if that’s the only real difference then I’ll stick with Lutris. Thanks.

FrankLaskey,

I wonder what the reason was for dropping the wheel cover display idea. Too gimmicky? Too much weight? Too complicated/costly to implement?

YSK about the app Yuka which lets you scan food and cosmetics to identify harmful chemicals or additives (yuka.io)

The app gives a score out of 100 for each product scanned based on how healthy or harmful it may be and offers alternative products which may be healthier. The developers do not sell ads or user data and have a no influence policy which prevents brands from paying to place their products in the app. There is a premium version...

FrankLaskey,

Yeah I’d love one for how restaurants and companies treat their workers. There was a group that made something like that for the NYC area years back I think but I don’t believe it ever took off. I believe it was released by ROC.

FrankLaskey,

That would also be great

FrankLaskey,

Not sure. I’ve never heard of that one. I’ll check it out though.

FrankLaskey,

Yeah, that is a truly god awful name. Not just because of the stupid sponsors in the name, but also it will almost certainly need to be shortened in order to actually make it less of a mouthful. I’m guessing people will just call them Racing Bulls, except that is kind of close to Red Bull’s main team name and could be confusing. VCARB?

FrankLaskey,

This looks pretty cool for an e-bike conversion kit but I do feel like the price should be like 30% less. I’m far from an expert on these kits though. Is this expensive compared to what else is on the market?

FrankLaskey,

Can you elaborate on these and how this would rule out aggression towards Taiwan?

FrankLaskey,

Thanks for all the ongoing development work. If you all haven’t you should definitely consider an ongoing donation to support the project. I joined Lemmy a few years ago but ever since Reddit imploded and went full greed-mode in preparation for the IPO it has been my primary social link aggregator. Been on a monthly ongoing donation since then.

FrankLaskey,

Thanks for the heads up. I’ve played them on Xbox a while back, but didn’t realize they were Steam Deck verified (well, technically just playable for the first one). Would be a lot of fun to play on the deck.
