Thanks to everyone who boosted my goose picture. It's 140 boosts so far. I don't think I've ever gotten above 10 boosts before this picture. Very cool to see Mastodon's power of sharing.
@Fred I agree. @jcrabapple and I were just talking about this too. It's nice that it's not super hot outside, but like he said, you can't go outside without being soaked.
@cliffwade can't agree more. I lost two grandparents to cancer. My Mom is a breast cancer survivor. We have a close friend who just finished treatment for breast cancer and is cancer free. I'm running with a friend from work who lost his Dad to melanoma.
I see this a lot on the #Mastodon mobile apps while browsing my feed (images not fully loaded). Is there any way to improve this? I'm not scrolling that quickly. I would assume the apps would start loading the images before I get to them.
Also, why don't more apps just load the posts instead of making me click the "load more" button. Or let me turn it on in the settings.
One of my favorite things to do is make a glass of water, put a few icecubes in it. Leave it on the table, forget about it, then come back into the room just after the last icecube has melted. Then down the whole perfectly cold glass of water.
If I'm a good father, my kids will need me less and less, but know I love them fully and will also be here for them. If I'm a good husband, my wife will love me more and more as the kids start to move on.
I also realize, I am influencing my kids choices less and less as they get older, and I'm cool with that. All I can do now, is know that I have loved and supported them from the start and always will, no matter what. Where they go from here, is becoming all them.
Well today was a nice big success bringing my son to work with me today. He got to do his school remotely from here and also got to see a lot of what we do and got to watch our Boss laser cut out some name tags for him. He got to watch me do some design work, designing some brackets for retaining some USB and HDMI cables. #parenting#kids
