It appears that the BrewDog Lost Forest has in fact been largely lost. To date Scottish Forestry had paid BrewDog £690,986.90 for planting, but seemingly large numbers of the planted trees are now dead.

Buying e-bikes, strapping them to your diesel powered campervan and travelling hundreds of miles to use them for purely recreational purposes is not "green". E-bike purchase is only in any way shape or form "green" if they are used for journeys which would otherwise be made using a fossil fuel powered vehicle.

If you send a bloke up here nightly to pick them up, I could guarantee a very healthy 250 to 400 every night no problem. Apparently it's common practice for restaurants to retain part of tips given by customers to their staff. Why isn't that a simple case of theft? I give it to the member of staff serving me, if any of that doesn't reach that member of staff it's been stolen.

The top of this lil table was wrecked with water damage. Veneer all discoloured and peeling off, mouldings broken and falling off. I removed the mouldings and veneer. It's made of plywood, so I sanded that till nice. Stained it, then cleaned up, repaired and re-glued the mouldings, finishing with Danish oil. Not too shabby a result, it'll have some more life yet. Something very satisfying about taking something destined for landfill and making it useful again.

Can the USA be called a civilised country? They support and supply arms to a regime murdering 10s of 1000s of civilians while cutting off aid to those civilians. They watch while people trying to cross border drown, actively preventing rescue. They may elect a rapist to be president, it's not that they think he didn't do it, it is they don't care if he did. They force women to bear the children of men who have raped them. Not all citizens support this, but it is happening under current regime.

It now appears the Post Office accounting system called Capture before the Horizon system, was also likely faulty and could cause shortfalls. My dad was a sub-postmaster during that period and did suffer significant shortfalls which he had to make up. I know he didn't take it. It had a very significant effect on his mental health and pretty much ruined his later years. #PostOfficeScandal
