E-bike purchase is only in any way shape or form "green" if they are used for journeys which would otherwise be made using a fossil fuel powered vehicle.

Apparently it's common practice for restaurants to retain part of tips given by customers to their staff. Why isn't that a simple case of theft? I give it to the member of staff serving me, if any of that doesn't reach that member of staff it's been stolen.

It also ignores that on nearly every other case, the international community, our governments, are doing something to try and stop it. But when it comes to Israel, we just give them more guns.
Media folks. An 'election' where all credible opposition is either dead or in jail, where armed men are in the polling booth with voters looking at how they vote, isn't an election. The top of this lil table was wrecked with water damage. Veneer all discoloured and peeling off, mouldings broken and falling off. I removed the mouldings and veneer. It's made of plywood, so I sanded that till nice. Stained it, then cleaned up, repaired and re-glued the mouldings, finishing with Danish oil. Not too shabby a result, it'll have some more life yet. Something very satisfying about taking something destined for landfill and making it useful again.
