I can’t believe how quickly this group is growing, it’s only been a little over 2 weeks since this community was created so we could share awe-inspiring photos of the cosmos and we are already well over one thousand subscribers....
I had a room without much light and wanted to put some plants in there too, so I designed an adapter for my wall planters. It has a drip tray to catch water and a mount for an LED grow light!
They’re definitely a lot happier with the additional light (the room wasn’t this dark, I closed the curtains for effect lol). I just got these off of Amazon but there’s a million of them on there and AliExpress.
I’m going to have to design bigger wall planters now so that I can have bigger plants in dark spaces!
I do, but as more people join I’m also feeling a little republican - i got my spot and this is good; everyone on the outside can go fuck off now. I don’t want it to get so big that it’s what we left. No intended disrespect or lack of acknowledgment to those who were here before.
I feel your pain about the squatted communities and agree that I wish there was a good laser cutting one. I know a lot of people are frustrated with the squatting so hopefully the lemmy.world admins implement some sort of community request.
I would check out the dudes over at !ergomechkeyboards (think I linked that correctly…) They should be able to help out. The low profile keyboards discord is also a good place for this. Ergogen is a keyboard plate generator that can also make that I believe.
I'm currently reading the Wool omnibus by Hugh Howey. It's pretty decent I've been making very rapid progress as it's been too hot to sleep here recently now the summer has arrived....

I had been on the M4A1 until I recently tried the Groza which seems to slap. The SCAR is also pretty sweet. What are you all using?
